SwissCham
Since 1935, the Association of Swiss Foreign Trade Chambers promotes Swiss exports and a Swiss economic presence abroad through its global network of member chambers. SwissCham currently has a total of 47 members - 33 full members and 14 associate members.


SwissCham and its members make a private sector contribution to the promotion of Swiss foreign economic relations in general and of Swiss exports of products and services in particular.

The Association of Swiss Foreign Trade Chambers – SwissCham:
  1. Represents the common interests of its members - private, not-for-profit business organizations - whose goal is to further economic relations between Switzerland and the respective partner countries.
  2. Promotes the exchange of experience among its members in order to reach high quality professional standards and improve their efficiency.
  3. Addresses issues concerning Swiss foreign economic policy.
  4. Serves to increase the perception of private sector foreign trade organizations within the administration, the Parliament and the Swiss public sector in general.
  5. Promotes Switzerland as a location to do business as well as strengthen the presence of the Swiss private business sector abroad.

SwissCham offers its members services that facilitate their operations as vehicles to strengthen business cooperation between Switzerland and partner countries.

Provide Forum for Networking and Information Exchange
Provide forum (events, website etc.) to enable members to communicate with each other, learn from each other and collaborate on matters of mutual interest, whether in solving problems or realizing opportunities

Facilitate Chambers as Local Business Support Agencies
  1. Assist upon request the establishment of new chambers.
  2. Provide consulting services and tools for effective operation of existing chambers when required.

Lobby and Promote
  1. • Represent members' interests whose goal is to further economic relations between Switzerland and partner countries.
