Embassy of Colombia in Switzerland

The mission of the Embassy of Colombia in the Swiss Confederation is to represent the Colombian Government, to serve as a bridge between both countries, to promote bilateral relations, to expand bilateral trade, to seek new forms of cooperation, to promote the image of Colombia, and coordinates permanently activities to expose Colombian culture and promote tourism interchanges.

Aims

According to the Development Plan 2006-2010, the objectives of foreign policy are:
  1. To consolidate the strategic bilateral relations and boost integration processes and comprehensive development in borders.
  2. To defend and promote national interests in the multilateral scenario.
  3. To diversify relations and the international agenda.
  4. To exercise the sovereignty and contributing of building peace and security.
  5. To design a comprehensive migration policy.
  6. To strengthen the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  7. Transversal topic: International Cooperation.
