The Swiss Embassy in Colombia consists of three sections:
- The diplomatic section, responsible for bilateral relations between Switzerland and Colombia in the political, economic and cultural fields. The office for the human rights and cooperation on peace and human security issues makes part of this section.
- The consular section, which deals with services for Swiss abroad and everything related to the requirements for entering into Switzerland.
- In the same building and offices of the Embassy, it operates the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (COSUDE). In this way it is sought synergy between the activities of the Embassy and the humanitarian aid program COSUDE, firstly for the populations in situations of displacement.
